You can do one-time donations but if you want to keep supporting the project, you can do it monthly as well. Our donation goal is yearly. To make our servers run 24/7 for a solid year, our goal needs to be roughly around 55.08 Euro. Any excess money will be put aside for other projects such as additional community servers, prize pools for community events or simply donated to charity. This year we got 0 / 55.08 Euro. This year we got 56 / 55.08 Euro.

We tried making the minimum amount as low as possible.[Donation goals]
Keep in mind that new community servers will increase the yearly goal![How much donations we got this year?]

The info might not always be correct because our site is static & everything is being written by hand.[People who donated]

We have moved from quakenet.org to oftc.net for our IRC chatroom.
You can use the /connect irc.oft.net command to connect to the server and /join #y2k.cs command to join our chatroom on your prefered IRC client. Or you can simply use the built-in qwebirc interface on our IRC page.
We're also happy to announce that you can now find us on wiby.org! So from now on, we will have a cool looking wiby.org badge at the bottom of our site with plenty of other late 90's inspired badges.
- For those who are unaware, this search engine indexes old look-alike webpages with simple html code but you can also submit your own page on their search engine which is what we did. Didn't expect us to actually turn up on their search engine so that's pretty awesome!

Finally, after a little over a year of ups and downs, we finally got a full release! We got both #Deathmatch & #Classic servers working 24/7 & we got a website working too which you're viewing at this very moment! Everything is finally falling into it's place.
-We did a lot of changes with this release - mostly making our servers as vanilla as possible. We removed a LOT of maps, only keeping the default ones while adding a few more popular community made ones. You can now check the current map list in the top bar. We also removed unused in-game commands such as /rs! And for those who played here while the servers were in testing phase might remember music playing when joining in. That has also been removed for the foreseeable future. Overall a massive overhaul!

Over the weekend, me & our head admin 1911 had a chance to test out a new CSDM module for our #Deathmatch server, so in today's update blog post, we are gonna talk about module's neat quirks & features.
+Yes, this is not a plugin, it is indeed a module which is possible via reHLDS & ReGameDLL_CS.
When you connect to the server, you won't get a chance to pick which side you wanna play on because it will be automatically done for you by the module itself.
+Of course, if you want to change the teams mid game, you can freely do that!
On our previous CSDM plugin, there was only one way to re-enable your weapon equip menu. This was in case you selected the "3. 2 + Don't show menu again" option which would make your weapon selection persistent up until a map change, or if you typed /guns in the chat.
+When making your selected weapons persistent after today's update, the following message will appear:
+[CSDM] Press 'G' or type 'guns' in chat to re-enable your equip menu.
So with this module, it's not possible to accidentally drop your weapon with the default bind which is 'G'. When you do press G or type 'guns' in the chat, the following message will appear:
+[CSDM] Your equip menu has been re-enabled.
+There were instances where someone would accidentally drop their weapon & it would disappear so that has been resolved by itself.
+Also, your equip menu will only re-enable after respawning!
At this moment, all weapons are available on all maps. Sometime in the near future, we will fix this.
+The nades have been removed as they are unneccesary.
This is the part we are most excited to talk about. When getting a frag, you will gain +5hp per kill. If you get a headshot, you will gain +10hp. Sounds familiar? Yes, we had this feature not too long ago but it didn't work as intended.
+Due to health refill, you won't get your ammo refilled after getting a frag. This was done to maintain balance.
+Armor refill is also enabled but it needs more testing.
When getting a headshot, you will get a blue coloured fade screen to give some visual feedback. There's also a boop sound that plays each time you get a headshot which gives you an auditory feedback. I personally find the sound pretty satisfying and very hilarious!
+Oh, there's also a neat little feature where you can see your frags being displayed where the money is.
We always had random spawns selected by default on our bigger maps such as de_dust2 & de_inferno to make it a little more interesting. With this module, not all have the required config files such as de_mirage but we're working on that. If you see any maps that don't have random spawn points, please inform us via our email! +
Here are the list of unused cvars & what they do:
+The descriptions were taken from SmileYzn's github page.
+This is a really weird one. When we got the module for our #Deathmatch server, we also got two more modules bundled in. Accuracy Fix & Hitbox Fix . Me & 1911 tried the Accuracy Fix module & we found how much easier it was to hit your shots mid air. In fact, it was so easy that we decided to remove the module entirely as it felt like it broke the game. The Hitbox Fix module is still present on the server but we haven't noticed anything different in particular so if any of you face any issues, feel free to email us.
+The module was made by SmileYzn, so if any of you want to host your own instance, you can click here to get all the required modules!
